All the Sh*t that the US did in Ukraine to provoke Russia
Two decades of turning Ukraine into an existential threat for Russia
While the mainstream narrative is that of a tyrant Putin attacking an innocent, freedom-loving Ukraine in an unprovoked manner, the facts are very different. In fact, Ukraine has been an active target for the U.S. for at least 25 years. Things have gotten so bad that, from a geopolitical point of view, Putin had no choice but to eliminate the enormous threat at Russia’s doorstep. Let’s see what led to this preemptive war (which is still wrong in terms of international laws).
Here is the big picture: The U.S. has been involved in four covert and overt operations that have turned Ukraine into an existential threat for Russia:
Trying to bring Ukraine into NATO
Arming Ukraine with lethal weapons for urban warfare.
Building biowarfare labs in Ukraine
Encouraging Ukrainian leaders to openly talk about acquiring nuclear weapons
One might ask why Ukraine cannot do all those things, since it’s an independent country. Well, it’s the same reason why the U.S. does not allow Chinese/Russian military bases in Latin America or the Caribbean; or the same reason why the U.S. does not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons.
Russia shares a 1500-mile border with Ukraine. Moscow is only 300 miles from Ukraine. Having U.S. nukes or even missile defense systems in Ukraine will greatly threaten Russia’s security.
Moreover, if Ukraine becomes a hostile country, Russia’s access to Black Sea will be in danger. As geopolitical wizard Brzezinski wrote in his book, The Grand Chessboard, in 1997: “Without Crimea and the Black Sea, the Russian Empire will cease to exist.”
NATO
In 2008, NATO announced that Ukraine and Georgia will soon become members. Immediately, former CIA director and then US Ambassador to the U.S. warned in a classified document that Georgia and Ukraine are the red lines for Russia. People like Noam Chomsky have also repeatedly pointed out to the dangers of Ukraine being pulled into NATO. However, all logic were ignored.
Ukraine’s new leaders have been constantly talking about joining NATO or even acquiring nuclear weapons.
In 2017, Ukraine’s parliament passed a resolution about plans to join NATO and later incorporated that goal into the Constitution. Ukraine then became an “enhanced opportunity partner of NATO” in 2020. All these were done without any referendums or input from the Ukrainian people. Finally, few days before Russia’s invasion, Ukraine’s President Zelensky gave a speech at the Munich Security Conference, where he reiterated all those controversial points.
“Defensive” Weapons
Washington elites are simply using Ukraine as a geopolitical pawn. Since 2014, the U.S. has given staggering $3 billion of military aid to Ukraine. Weapons such as anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles — labeled as “defensive” — poured into Ukraine. These are aimed for a brutal urban war, which will destroy Ukrainian cities – very similar to what transpired in Syria.
As I describe in my book, “The Cure for Russophobia,” the U.S. blatantly staged a coup in Ukraine in 2014 and overthrew a democratically elected leader. In 2016, Senators Graham and McCain went to Ukraine and said, “Your war is our war and we will help you win.” These are almost the same words that the U.S. leaders told the Afghan Mujahedeen in the 1980s.
Biowarfare Labs
The U.S. has built numerous biolabs in Ukraine and Georgia. Dilyana, a journalist from Bulgaria, has documented these — click here for more details. The Russian Defense ministry also just published some documents obtained from employees of the Pentagon-funded biolaboratories during the invasion. On Feb 24, the Health ministry of Ukraine instructed these biolaboratories to urgently destroy deadly pathogens and bio agents — like anthrax. There have also been numerous breakouts of cholera and other strange diseases in Ukraine in the last couple of years.
Nazis
While the mainstream media and social media giants like Twitter and Facebook censor discussions of Nazis in Ukraine, it’s a serious problem. Far-right groups like Svoboda and Right Sector control or have huge influence in Ukraine’s police and National Guards. Militia groups like Azov Battalion openly use Nazi symbols and venerate Stephan Bandera, a Nazi collaborator from the 1930s.
Yes, the last two presidents of Ukraine have been Jewish, but this is geopolitics. Here’s an article by two Jewish journalists on how this works.
Decades of Subversion
Actually, using Ukraine’s nationalists and Nazis goes back to the 1950s, when the CIA started recruiting and funding them in what was called Operation Aerodynamic.
Conclusion
There is no true democracy or freedom of speech/media or human rights in Ukraine. Zelensky has shut down opposition TV stations and arrested opposition leaders. Anything Russian has been banned and openly discriminated against for the last 8 years. And 14,000 ethnic Russians (in the Donbass region) have been slaughtered by the Ukrainian government and the Nazis.
The West had planned this invasion for a long time. They had all the sanctions in place. They just kept pushing Putin until he had no choice. He fell into the trap but the alternative was worse.
Even if Putin hadn’t invaded, Ukraine would have carried out a false flag attack, and the Western sanctions would have been imposed. (Like the 2014 shooting down of the Malaysia Airlines over Ukraine).
The West is using Ukraine as a cannon fodder. America and Europe hope to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.
However … I think Putin is too smart for this playbook. My guess is that he will chop up Ukraine into two countries along the Dnieper River. Then, Ukraine will no longer have a border with Russia. The Eastern part will be pro-Russia and full of ethnic Russians; the Western part will be pro-West and made up of ethnic Ukrainians.
